"Your healing doesn’t have to be impressive to be real. It just has to work."

There was a time I believed healing meant becoming some glowing, yoga-drenched, peace-exuding goddess who always knew what to say and never snapped at her kids. I thought I needed to journal every day, meditate at sunrise, and sip matcha while my nervous system floated in permanent Zen.

Turns out, healing looks a lot more like making a mess and finding your way through it. It looks like pulling out whatever tools actually help, even if they don’t photograph well. For today’s post, I’m sharing the real, gritty, everyday tools I use to stay grounded through burnout, anxiety, hormone shifts, and mom-mode meltdowns. These aren’t Pinterest-pretty. They’re practical. They work. They meet me where I am.


When I'm overstimulated and tense...

  • I rub the Almond Coco Lotion Bar into my shoulders, neck, and hands. The cocoa butter, shea butter, and mango butter combo is like a weighted blanket in balm form. Not to mention, it smells delicious.
